BASINGSTOKE & DEANE BC - Extension to Conservation Area Designation

Please be advised that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council has extended the boundary of the Old Basing Conservation Area. The following notices will appear in the London Gazette and Hampshire Independent on 29th January 2021.

The Old Basing Conservation Area Appraisal and Management Plan was also adopted as a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) by the Council on 27^th January 2021. The SPD will be used as a material consideration in the determination of planning applications within and around the conservation area.

The adopted SPD, map showing the conservation area boundary and supporting documents can be viewed on the Council’s website at: https://www.basingstoke.gov.uk/conservationappraisals

The Council may be able to provide a hard copy of documents for those who do not have access to the internet (free of charge) on request. This should be requested by calling the Council’s contact centre on 01256 844844.
