The Parish Council has long been pressing for parking restrictions along Milkingpen Lane and adjacent areas before a serious accident happens due to the congestion during school drop-off and pick-up times. Our County and Borough Councillors have also backed this and helped in persuading the Borough Council to take action. Many residents may already have seen the traffic order and proposal advertised from 4 December and residents most closely affected should have been contacted direct.

The above route will begin a phased return to a more normal service from Monday 15 June.
It will operate twice per day for the full 5 days still using the booking system introduced in response to the pandemic. This is to ensure social distancing guidelines can be adhered to as the buses used are 16 - 25 seaters and not all seats will be able to be used. It is felt that by regulating demand in this way those that need to use the service still can. If demand gets too high this approach will be reviewed.
