Vaccination briefing

The NHS has provided a new briefing (click here to read it) on the vaccination programme in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. Officers are continuing to support local NHS partners to coordinate new vaccination sites across the borough. We have been advised by Solent NHS Trust that the new vaccine site at Basingstoke fire station is due to go live in early February.

Community transport support for vaccinations

As the biggest vaccination programme in NHS history continues, support is available for residents who have difficulties in getting to their vaccination appointments by car or public transport or with the help of family or friends.

Local community transport charities Dial-a-Ride and Neighbourcare is providing transport support. If you are aware of vulnerable residents in your area who need support to get to their appointments, please share the following details for Dial-A-Ride and Neighbourcare:
