Reopening of Old Basing Facilities

The children’s play areas at Belle Vue Road and at the Old Basing Recreation Ground (including the MUGA and adult exercise equipment) have all been inspected and will re-open to the public from Saturday 4 July.

Please carefully observe the Government guidelines regarding social distancing and hand sanitising at all times when visiting these areas .  Hand sanitisers are due to be installed at both locations, however we are currently still awaiting delivery of these.  Please therefore ensure you have your own sanitisers with you to use before and after using the equipment in the meantime.

It would also be appreciated if visitors can take their rubbish home with them for disposal, or otherwise make sure that all rubbish is thrown into the litter bins located around the recreation areas.  

Unfortunately, the public toilets will remain closed until the Parish Council is able to put acceptable measures in place to protect users.
