NOTICE OF VACANCY IN OFFICE OF PARISH COUNCILLOR

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972 that a casual vacancy exists in the office of Councillor for the Parish due to the vacation of office of COUNCILLOR DANIEL NEAT.

If, within 14 days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays) after the date of this notice, a request for election to fill the said vacancy is made in writing to the RETURNING OFFICER of the BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL, Civic Offices, London Road, Basingstoke, Hampshire
by ten electors for the Parish an election will be held to fill the said vacancy; otherwise the vacancy will be filled by the Parish Council by co-option.
