About Our Allotments
The Parish Council provides allotment plots for parish residents. Plots may also be available to non-residents if vacancies allow.
Our site features a variety of plot sizes to suit different gardeners and are allocated as they become available.
If you would like to apply for an allotment plot please complete the Application Form and return it to assistant.clerk@oldbasing.gov.uk.
Inspection Dates for 2026
To make sure the allotments stay productive and enjoyable, we carry out regular inspections in March, May, July, and October. These inspections help support plot holders and keep the site safe and well-maintained.
If a plot isn’t quite up to standard, we get in touch politely, taking into account things like new plot holders, bad weather, or personal circumstances. We give everyone the chance to improve their plot before any formal action is taken. Our goal is a friendly, thriving allotment community where everyone can enjoy gardening.
