Finance Officer 

Old Basing & Lychpit Parish Council is looking for a Finance Officer to work with its friendly, committed, and flexible team for 20 hours per month. Hired as a Contractor, the selected individual will work with the Clerk of the Parish Council (as Responsible Financial Officer) and support the Council to manage its financial arrangements and reporting.

This is an exciting and varied role, and the successful applicant will provide administrative and financial support to the Parish Council to ensure the efficient running of the Parish Office, have a can-do and flexible attitude, use their own initiative to carry out the responsibilities required in the role with minimal supervision and lead by example.
Assistant Clerk

 

Old Basing & Lychpit Parish Council is seeking a dedicated individual to join our friendly and committed team as a part-time Assistant Parish Clerk for 20 hours per week.
This is a pivotal role within our growing and changing council, requiring a highly motivated, flexible and proactive person with excellent organisational, leadership, and administrative skills. The successful applicant will work under the direction of the Clerk and provide wide-ranging support to the Parish Council to ensure excellent delivery of projects and services to the local community. They will use their own initiative to carry out the responsibilities required in the role with minimal supervision, leading by example.
A Certificate in Local Council Administration is desirable but not essential, although there will be a requirement to attain this qualification within an agreed period. All training will be provided and supported.

Administration Officer

 

Old Basing & Lychpit Parish Council is recruiting a part-time Administration Officer to join its friendly, committed, and flexible team for 10 hours per week. The Council is looking for someone who will work under the direction of the Clerk and will support the Council to deliver projects and services to the local community.
This is a new role, and the successful applicant will provide administrative support to the Parish Clerk and Assistant Clerk to ensure the efficient running of the Parish Office. The right applicant will have a can-do and flexible attitude and use their own initiative to carry out the responsibilities required in the role with minimal supervision.
