PARISH COUNCIL - Annual Parish Meeting

Published: 21 April 2021

The Annual Parish Meeting (or Parish Assembly) is a public meeting called by the Chairman of the Parish Council and must, by law, be held between 31 March and 1 June each year.

The Coronavirus Act 2020 permitted Parish Councils to cancel the meeting last year and also allowed all other Parish meetings to take place virtually.  As this Act expires on 7th May 2021, meetings scheduled to take place after this date can no longer be held remotely.  For this reason, the Parish Council has agreed to move the date of the Annual Parish Meeting from 17th May 2021 to 26th April 2021, in order that it can be held virtually and any complications and restrictions due to the number of attendees can be avoided.

The Agenda is published on the Parish Council website (under Parish Council>Meetings and Minutes>Full Council).  There will not be a speaker or annual award presentation on this occasion.
