Important Notice - Community Transport Service No: 55

Due to lack of patronage Basingstoke Community Transport (BCT) have taken the decision to suspend the Route 55 from this Thursday (9th April) as a timetabled service.
Until further notice Route 55 will operate as a ‘Call and Go’ style service; whereby passengers wishing to travel will now have to call BCT on 01256 320501 one day in advance as a minimum to book their journey (but can book up to one week in advance if more convenient). By operating in this way we can ensure that a service to residents is available should they absolutely need it whilst maintaining the government’s advice to restrict all but essential travel which must be as infrequent as is possible.
Finally, BCT would like to assure their customers that this very popular service will be resumed as soon as government travel limitations are relaxed. Thank you for your understanding and support!
