3 To receive declarations of interest relevant to items on this agenda.
4 Public participation session.
5 To receive the monthly monitoring report.
6 To receive such communications as the chairman may wish to lay before the Council.
7 To receive reports from District and County Councillors.
8.1 To receive details of bank balances and petty cash expenditure at the end of the preceding month.
8.2 To receive details of wages and salary costs for the preceding month.
8.3 To approve invoices for payment.
8.4 To receive the annual audit return for approval and to discuss arrangements for internal audit.
8.5 To receive a quote for works to the Lychpit Hall to prevent birds etc entering.
8.6 To receive feedback on applications made for funding under the Small Scale Environmental Renewal Scheme.
8.7 To consider a financial contribution towards the cost of a gate to prevent unauthorised encampments on Cowdery Down.
8.8 To consider opening a trade account with Roffey Wessex.
9 MATTERS RELATING TO CORRESPONDENCE
9.1 To receive a response from the Borough Council to a request for changes to the format of the Council Tax demand.
9.2 Clerk to report on the application of subsidies to bus services as they affect the parish and to receive a reply from Stagecoach concerning the use of smaller vehicles.
9.3 To receive a petition from residents concerning the change of storage facilities at the Lychpit Community Hall and its effect on the playgroup.
9.4 To consider a nomination to Basingstoke Voluntary Services’ Celebration of Volunteering 2008.
9.5 To receive the Borough Council’s draft Statement on Flood Defence and to consider a response.
10 MISCELLANEOUS MATTERS
10.1 To note the resignation of John Barton from the Parish Council.
10.2 To note the resignation of Anna Archibald from the Lychpit Hall and Planning committees and to consider the election of a replacment.
10.3 To discuss the proposal to open a polyclinic in the Basingstoke area as it affects the parish.
11 MATTERS RELATING TO COMMITTEES
11.1 To receive the minutes of the planning committee meetings of 27 May and 9 June.
11.2 To receive the minutes of the recreation committee meeting of 28 May.
11.3 To receive the minutes of the Lychpit Hall committee meeting of 21 May.
